Udawalawe National Park is one of the best places in the world to see wild Asian elephants in their natural habitat. Covering nearly 31,000 hectares of grasslands, forests, and wetlands, Udawalawe is home to over 600 elephants, making sightings almost guaranteed on every safari. Visitors can witness majestic herds bathing, feeding, and moving gracefully across open landscapes—an unforgettable experience for nature lovers.

In addition to elephants, Udawalawe is rich in biodiversity.
